The Shwedagon_Pagoda in Yangon is said to be 2500 years old.  It is the most sacred Pagoda in Myanmar and houses relics of the past four Buddhas.

Many Statuettes surround the main Pagoda.  Inside each Statuettes is a Buddha
Notice the two clocks with different times?  I thought it was some special second time - come to find out the first clock stopped working so they just hung a second one.  Clocks are found around the Pagoda  to help people budget time for prayers.

During festival of the Pagoda, the drum is used to open the festival by hitting 3 times
A pair of mythical lions guards the entrance to the Shwedagon Pagoda.  These lions are called Chinthe and are commonly found guarding pagodas and temples.
